You don’t have to know how to skim to come to skim camp. For many students, the first day at camp is their first time on a board. Our instructors have been teaching skimboarding for many years and make it easy to learn. Easy to learn to skimboard. Through a variety of exercises and lessons, our instructors build campers skills, confindence, and will have every camper skimming down the beach by weeks end!
Whether you are a beginner with no skimming experience or an intermediate looking to refine you skills, DB Skim camp can get you riding a skimboard better than ever before. We are certain we can teach you a few new tricks and that you’ll have a great time doing it!
Dash Point description:
Location: Dash Point offers great beach skimboarding. The beach has many tidal skimboarding zones including a fresh water stream and shoreline skimming. The large beach offers great skimboarding conditions, shallow water makes for long and fast rides. Campers can learn a variety of shallow water tricks like: Bank slides, shuv-it’s, spins, l-rides, one-footers, and many other fun tricks.

Chambers Creek description:
Location: Chambers Creek Park offers the Northwests best fresh water skimboarding. Chambers creek is a shallow stream that creates great skimboarding conditions. Varying water depths make ollies and other advanced tricks easier to learn. Get ready to have fun in the sun and lay up some huge sprays in this skimboarding paradise!
